It made a mid-race effort with good acceleration, maintaining a consistent pace. Switching to a Happy Valley sprint distance now for its first attempt at this trip, it benefits from a one-pound weight reduction. However, the distance isn’t ideal. This race will likely see it settle back again, but its finishing kick may not be strong enough against rivals. The horse appears capable of tracking the leaders and potentially contesting the pace, drawing a reasonable barrier position, so this run is primarily for assessment.
