In a subsequent trial over a short distance at Happy Valley, he will carry an additional five pounds in this race. Although his section times were not significantly slower than others, he has drawn a favorable barrier and is expected to lead. Pre-race work appears positive, however, the horse has failed to place in four previous attempts over this course and distance, making him a doubtful contender.
