Three weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over a Happy Valley 1800m, with a slow jump and settling towards the rear. Maintaining a steady pace throughout, it lacked a finishing kick and finished fourth, beaten three lengths. In a subsequent trial over a Happy Valley mile, this time carrying two pounds less weight, unfavorable timing in sectional splits were observed alongside a poor barrier draw creating an unfavourable situation. Despite some previous form at this distance, its winning chances appear limited.
