A trial run showed improvement. For this race, it will carry 11 pounds more weight despite having previously won twice at this distance, posts the best time among its group, and has drawn a favorable barrier. The strategy is expected to be settling towards the rear and relying on a strong finishing kick, being the strongest in the group for late speed. Trainer and jockey appear to have a good understanding, but the overall situation isn’t ideal – hoping to finish close.
