Two weeks ago, this horse performed poorly over a Sha Tin 1600m race, leading early but tiring badly and finishing well-beaten. Returning to Happy Valley over a mile next start, he benefits from a two-pound weight reduction, although the barrier draw isn't ideal. Despite having nine wins from 52 starts at this distance, its time compared to other horses in the same class is not very competitive. It has the potential to lead early, but drawing a good barrier doesn’t necessarily make it a strong contender for this race.
