The horse made a mid-race move with a strong effort but couldn’t quite sustain it. In a subsequent trial at Happy Valley over 1200m, this time carrying two pounds less weight, it has yet to record a win in three attempts. Drawing a poor barrier this time suggests a likely backmarker strategy. However, the horse's sectionals are promising and shouldn’t be underestimated.
