Two weeks ago, this horse delivered a strong performance over 2000m on the Sha Tin turf, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear before making a fast run in the final two sections to finish third, beaten by half a length. Now moving up in class and stepping back to 1800m at Happy Valley, the horse will benefit from a five-pound weight reduction but has drawn a poor barrier. A hold-up tactics are expected, however, the finishing kick may not be strong enough against rivals. Despite comparable sectionals with its group and good trainer-jockey synergy, morning trackwork shows improvement, though opportunities appear limited.
