Five weeks ago, in a race over the same distance, the performance was fair. The horse settled nicely tracking the leaders and showed strong momentum throughout the run, finishing within two and a half lengths of the winner in fifth place. This time, no additional weight will be carried; it has four wins from sixteen starts at this distance, with comparable times to its competition, and drew a favorable barrier. It is expected to track the pace, which looks advantageous. Considering the horse’s ability compared to other entrants, it appears superior. Morning work shows improvement, and a clean break should allow it to contend for the lead.
