Three weeks ago, this horse performed well in a dirt mile race, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear. Maintaining a steady pace, it finished second after a late run by Karis Teetan, beaten by one and a half lengths. In a subsequent trial over a Happy Valley mile, no additional weight is required for this race. Times were respectable within its group, and drawing a reasonable barrier. The tactics are to settle back in the field and rely on a finishing kick. The jockey understands the horse’s weaknesses and the trainer-jockey combination appears solid with diligent preparation; however, the overall situation isn't particularly favorable, aiming for a strong finish.
