On June 27th, a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua saw the horse travel on the outside rail, showing an inside move under urging while maintaining pace. Eight weeks ago, in a Sha Tin mile race, the performance was disappointing; a slow start led to settling towards the rear, with a mid-race effort ultimately lacking stamina resulting in a significant defeat. Following a brief rest, a barrier trial showed acceptable form. Returning from a break in a Happy Valley mile, this time carrying a three-pound weight reduction and facing unfavorable competition within its group, prospects are limited despite having previously won over this distance and drawing a favorable barrier.
