RAGING BLIZZARD

On July 8th (dirt trial 1200m: 6-3-4), the horse responded well to urging in the bends and maintained a steady pace on the straight. On June 27th (Conghua turf trial 1200m: 10-10-6), a slow jump resulted in losing ground, but the final margin was not significant. Five weeks ago, this horse delivered a respectable performance over Sha Tin’s 1200m turf, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear before launching a strong mid-race move. It finished second, beaten by half a length, demonstrating good ability. Two barrier trials have been completed, though perhaps not fully extended. Returning to Happy Valley over 1200m this time without any additional weight, having previously secured two wins at this distance and recording the fastest times amongst its group, drawing a favourable barrier, it’s expected to settle back in the field and rely on a strong finishing kick; its form is superior compared to other runners. The trainer and jockey appear to have good synergy, and are preparing for a competitive race.
