He demonstrated a strong late run, finishing within two and a half lengths of the winner in eighth place. This time benefiting from a two-pound weight reduction, having previously secured two wins at this course and distance, with comparable times to rivals. Drawing a favorable barrier, the plan is again to settle back in the field relying on a strong finishing kick, which appears to be his strongest attribute. The horse looks well positioned, Karis Teetan takes the ride – known for his ability to control pace - and training has been vigorous, suggesting he's primed for a good run.
