Returning to Happy Valley over 1200m last run, he benefits from a five-pound weight reduction. Despite showing comparable times to rivals, this time around a more conservative tactic of running from behind is planned, however his finishing kick isn't strong enough compared to opponents and the situation looks unfavourable. Although successful in six out of twenty-nine runs over this distance, despite drawing a favorable barrier, pre-race tension is evident with increased gate work."
