On June 27th, a turf trial at Conghua over 1200m saw the horse settle mid-field and produce an attractive finishing sprint. Five weeks ago in a Sha Tin 1200m race, the performance was poor; it settled in a good position tracking the leaders with a steady pace but lacked a strong finish. A subsequent barrier trial showed moderate form. Returning to racing in a Happy Valley 1200m event, this time carrying a three-pound weight reduction and drawing a favourable barrier, the horse has proven record over this distance and recorded the best time amongst its group. The plan is to settle back in the field and rely on a strong finishing kick; considered a good each-way chance.
