SUPER CHARIZZARD

On 1/9, during a turf trial at Conghua over 1000m, the horse was urged forward but performed adequately (8-9-9). On 21/8, in a dirt trial at Conghua over 1200m, he settled comfortably and maintained a good pace under strong riding, ultimately being overtaken near the finish. This is his seasonal debut. He’s had two barrier trials without showing full effort. Body weight has decreased by twenty-two pounds; stepping down in class for this race, he will carry an 18lb penalty. He has previously won twice over this distance and benefits from good times within his group, along with a favorable barrier draw. His form suggests he is superior to the competition, and trainer/jockey combination shows good synergy – expected to be competitive.
