On August 27th, (dirt trial 1200m: 1-1-4) jumped reasonably well and took the lead along the rail initially but was overtaken in the final section. Returning after a long break, this is the horse’s first run of the season. A recent barrier trial showed only moderate form. This represents his debut following a stable transfer, running down in class. He will carry 16 pounds more this time and posted respectable times against his group; drawing a favorable barrier offers an opportunity to lead. The jockey knows the horse's temperament well, and despite a potentially unfavorable situation, and trainer-jockey relationship not being ideal, a clean break and intention to take an early lead could see improvement.
