On August 29th, a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua saw the horse break slowly and display an untidy action throughout, showing room for improvement. This is its seasonal debut following one barrier trial which didn't reveal much. Last start, it ran over a Happy Valley mile; this time needing to carry 15 pounds more. Despite comparable times within the group, it managed to settle in a good position tracking the leaders, benefits from a favorable draw. Finishing kick was strongest among its peers and trainer-jockey relationship remains solid. Late work showed positive signs of conditioning but overall situation is not ideal, relying on early speed.
