On August 29th, (dirt trial 1200m: 8-8-5), showed a reasonable response with some urging. This is the horse’s first run of the season and a previous barrier trial didn't reveal much. Having lost twenty-two pounds in body weight, he will now trial over a Happy Valley mile this time carrying a two-pound deduction. The section times were respectable compared to other horses in the group, and drawing a favorable barrier position enhances his chances. Based on his overall ability relative to the competition, he appears to be a leading contender and possesses good substance.
