Two weeks ago, this horse performed well over a Sha Tin 1200m distance, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear before making a strong late run in the final two sections. Now stepping up to a Sha Tin 1400m race after that start, it’s his first attempt at this distance. He will carry an additional fourteen pounds this time and the course is not ideal for him; he has drawn an outside barrier requiring a hold-up strategy. However, his finishing kick was insufficient against rivals, making the situation unfavorable – observation from one run is recommended before assessing further prospects.
