Two weeks ago, over the same distance, this horse performed impressively, jumping slowly and settling towards the back before making a strong late run with fast sectionals. This time he needs to carry an additional two pounds, showing good times in the group trials; a hold-up tactic is expected, with a strong finishing kick being his main asset. Despite drawing an outside barrier, connections believe he has the potential to surprise.
