On September 23rd, the horse completed a dirt trial over 1200m (sections: 10-10-10) and finished at the rear of the field with little to show. Three weeks ago, it ran respectably over a Happy Valley mile, jumping slowly but settling in midfield with a steady pace before making some ground. A recent barrier trial showed no improvement. Now switching to Sha Tin over 1800m for its first attempt at this distance, the horse has a two-pound weight reduction. The distance may not suit; it will likely be held up in the run but lacked sufficient finishing speed against opponents. However, drawing an inside barrier is advantageous and suggests potential for a win.
