PACKING HURRICANE

On September 23rd (dirt trial 1200m: 5-5-7), the horse was urged but showed no acceleration. On September 12th (Conghua turf trial 1600m: 7-7-7-6), it shifted outwards on the straight and responded well to urging. On August 29th (Conghua turf trial 1200m: 6-5-3), it was lightly whipped early on the straight and made gradual progress. This is its seasonal debut after three trials showing unremarkable performance. It’s debuting after a stable transfer, returning to Sha Tin over 1800m this time with an additional 21 pounds to carry and drawing an unfavorable outside barrier. Finishing kick appears weak, presenting a difficult scenario, and the trainer-jockey combination isn't ideal. Despite having previous records at this distance and comparable times within its group, it’s expected to settle in a good position tracking the leaders. Hugh Bowman takes over as jockey, with some familiarity of the horse’s capabilities, though no clear strategy is apparent.
