On September 16th, a turf trial over 1000m saw the horse track second behind the leader and demonstrate increased stamina. Three weeks ago in a race over the same distance, it performed well despite a slow jump, settling towards the rear before making a strong move in the middle stages and finishing with a good run. A recent barrier trial showed slight improvement. This time, benefiting from a two-pound weight reduction and drawing an outside barrier, the horse is expected to settle back in the field; however, its finishing kick may not be as strong as rivals, presenting a difficult opportunity.
