He has completed one barrier trial showing some improvement. For this race, he benefits from a one-pound weight reduction, and the time of the other horses in his group isn’t too bad. He looks capable of taking an early lead. Drawing well and undergoing gate work suggests a smooth break is expected; if he jumps cleanly, a forward position should be achievable.
