On September 26th, a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua saw the horse pushed throughout and finish fourth. Three weeks prior, in a Happy Valley 1200m race, it ran well despite a slow start, settling towards the rear before making ground with strong sections. Beaten three and a half lengths, it finished sixth. A subsequent barrier trial showed moderate performance. Back on the Sha Tin turf over 1400m this time with a six-pound weight reduction, the trial times of its group weren’t impressive, resulting in an unfavorable positioning scenario; however, despite needing to settle towards the rear, it demonstrated strong finishing kick amongst its peers and doesn't appear to lack potential.
