Three weeks ago in this same race, the performance was satisfactory. The jump wasn’t quick, settling towards the back of the field, showing a mid-race effort but failing to sustain it to the finish line. This time with a two-pound weight reduction, the plan is again to settle back, however, the finishing kick isn't strong enough compared to its rivals and the barrier draw is not advantageous. Trainer-jockey combination doesn’t seem ideal, although track work times are reasonable. Drawing an inside barrier, the jockey understands the horse’s temperament; proceed with caution.
