Three weeks ago, over this same distance, the horse performed well despite a slow start, settling back in the field before making a strong late run with fast sectionals. He finished fourth, beaten three and a half lengths, demonstrating good ability. This time benefiting from a two-pound weight reduction, with comparable times within the group, and drawing an advantageous inside barrier, the plan is to settle back again. The finishing kick is expected to be strong amongst this competition. Despite having failed to win in three previous attempts over this course and distance, the unfavorable conditions don't rule out an upset.
