The horse showed effort from the middle stages and made a late run but could only manage fourth. Racing again within two weeks, the body weight has been reduced by 21 pounds. Another trial over Sha Tin 1400m this time with a 2-pound claim. This horse is winless in six attempts at this distance, drawing an outside barrier requiring a hold-up tactic. Finishing kick is inferior to rivals, however, the sectional times within its group were not significantly slower, suggesting reasonable form and potential for a place finish.
