RIDING HIGH

Three weeks ago, this horse performed well over a Sha Tin 1200m race, with a slow jump and settling towards the rear before making a strong late run in the final two sections to finish third. He was beaten by two and a half lengths, demonstrating good ability. Now stepping up to Sha Tin over 1400m this time with a two-pound weight reduction and drawing an outside barrier, his finishing kick may be compromised, leaving him in a less favourable position. However, the distance should suit, and he is expected to settle in a good position tracking the leaders if able to show his true form.
