He finished fourth, beaten three and a half lengths, demonstrating decent ability. In a subsequent trial over 1400m at Sha Tin, he will benefit from a six-pound weight reduction this time, with comparable times to his rivals. Drawing a favorable barrier, he has the opportunity for an uncontested lead. If he jumps cleanly, a forward run is anticipated.
