On September 27th, this horse trialled over 1200m on the Happy Valley turf, running moderately while angling for an inside position. On September 11th, a dirt trial over 1200m saw him drop back on the straight and appear lacking focus. This will be his seasonal debut, having shown nothing exceptional in two barrier trials. He’s stepping up to Sha Tin over 1400m this time with a six-pound weight reduction; the longer distance is expected to suit. A hold-up strategy is anticipated, relying on a strong finishing kick. Harry Bentley takes the ride, and they have a good rapport. Despite an unfavorable outside draw, connections believe he has potential. The trainer-jockey combination isn't ideal. Considered a chance.
