TIME TO FIRE

Three weeks ago, over the same distance, the performance was acceptable despite a slow jump and settling towards the rear. The horse made progress in the middle stages but couldn't quite catch up. This time with a three-pound weight reduction and similar section times, the plan is to settle back again; however, the finishing kick isn’t strong enough to compete with rivals, making for an unfavorable situation even with an inside barrier draw.
