On 9/10, this horse recorded (dirt trial 1200m: 10-7-8), squeezed for position in the early stages and tracked from behind. On 29/9 at Conghua (turf trial 1200m: 8-6-5) he jumped slowly and raced mid-division, beaten a moderate distance. He also trialed over 1000m on 12/9 at Conghua (7-6-5), starting unfast and settling into a mid-field position with an acceptable performance. Returning from a long break, this is his seasonal debut. Three trials have been completed, but fitness levels appear insufficient. This race offers a three-pound weight reduction. He has failed to win in three previous attempts over this distance and the sectionals of rivals aren’t promising. Despite drawing an inside barrier, opportunities seem limited.
