Two weeks ago, over the same distance, this horse performed well. A slow jump saw it settle towards the back of the field, before making a mid-race move and maintaining good momentum. This time carrying two pounds less weight, with proven form at this distance and respectable sectionals, it has drawn a favorable barrier. The plan is to settle back early, relying on a strong finishing kick. Training has been positive, and the horse appears to be in good form; worth considering.
