Two weeks ago, over this same distance, the horse performed well, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear. It showed a strong finishing run but was beaten two and a half lengths for sixth place. This time it will carry an additional one pound in weight. Despite having three previous wins at this course and good times within its group, the barrier draw is reasonable and morning trackwork has shown consistent improvement. However, a hold-up tactic is expected which may not be advantageous given its finishing kick isn't as strong as some rivals; hopes are limited to running closer to the field.
