On 9/10, during a dirt trial over 1200m (sections: 8-8-4), the horse made a positive move to take a straight line after 200m and showed good effort. On 30/9, in a 1050m dirt trial (sections: 5-4-4), he responded well with urging at the 200m mark. On 16/9, during a 1050m dirt trial (sections: 4-4-4), he was urged at the 200m but didn’t show significant acceleration. This horse is returning from a long break and making his seasonal debut. Three trials have shown moderate form. He has dropped 21 pounds in body weight and benefits from a 2lb reduction this time. Despite four previous starts over this distance resulting in losses, the unfavorable barrier draw is somewhat offset by comparable times within the group.
