Two weeks ago over this same distance, the horse performed well despite a slow jump and settling towards the rear. It showed a strong late run, finishing within three and a half lengths of the winner. This time it will carry an additional three pounds. Having previously secured three wins at this distance, with comparable times to its rivals, and drawing a favorable barrier, the conditions are promising. The jockey understands the horse’s capabilities and enjoys a good rapport with the trainer; preparations have been satisfactory making it a solid each-way contender.
