YOUNG STRIKER

Three weeks ago, over Sha Tin 1400m, the performance was reasonable despite a slow jump and settling towards the rear. The horse made a move in the middle stages but couldn’t sustain it to the finish line. This time stepping into Happy Valley 1200m with a one-pound weight reduction, the distance is expected to suit. Drawing a favorable barrier, a hold-up tactic is anticipated and finishing kick should be strong within the group. The jockey understands the horse's temperament well; however, despite unfavorable circumstances, trainer-jockey relationship isn’t ideal, it shouldn't be underestimated.
