Seven days ago, in a race over the same distance, the performance was poor; a slow start saw the horse settle at the back of the field with an even pace but no finishing kick. He finished last, beaten two lengths. Racing again in two weeks, this time carrying no additional weight, despite having some form over this distance and comparable times to its competition, it has drawn a favorable barrier. The shape looks good. Karis Teetan takes the ride; the jockey has some understanding of the horse's capabilities, but is expected to race from behind. However, the finishing kick isn’t as strong as rivals and trainer-jockey synergy seems limited, hoping for a placing.
