Two weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over a Sha Tin 1200m turf track, with a slow jump and settling towards the rear. He made an effort in the middle stages but faded noticeably and finished well-beaten. In a subsequent trial at Happy Valley over 1200m, he received a two-pound weight reduction. This time around, a hold-up tactics are planned, however, his finishing kick is unlikely to match rivals and the situation appears unfavourable despite similar sectionals compared to the group and an advantageous barrier draw; it’s not considered a strong chance in this race.
