On October 14th (Turf trial 1000m: 6-5-4), the horse showed gradual improvement. On September 27th (Happy Valley turf trial 1200m: 6-7-3) it straightened well-balanced in third position, maintaining a steady pace. On September 12th (Conghua turf trial 1000m: 10-9-3) the horse was squeezed at the start and made up ground from the 200m mark. On September 1st (Conghua turf trial 1000m: 4-4-4) it jumped awkwardly but with strong riding maintained its position. This is a debutant new winner, having commenced trackwork in early January after arriving in Hong Kong. Four trials have been undertaken this season, showing slight improvement. A tall and large horse, with a low stride and quick foot speed, it appears suited to sprints and willing to chase. Worth noting on its race debut."
