Three weeks ago, over a Happy Valley 1800m, the performance was unsatisfactory with a slow start and settling at the rear. A mid-race effort was made but lacked stamina to finish strongly, finishing sixth beaten two and a half lengths. Another trial over a Happy Valley mile this time without any additional weight but drawing a poor barrier. The tactics will be to settle back again, although the finishing kick is unlikely to match rivals; the overall time compared to other horses in the same group was acceptable.
