Two weeks ago, over the same distance, the performance was moderate. A slow jump saw it settle towards the rear of the field before making a mid-race effort, but ultimately couldn’t close the gap and finished third, beaten by one and a half lengths. This time with a three-pound weight reduction, despite having won three times over this course previously and similar sectionals to its rivals, it should be able to settle in a good position tracking the leaders. A favorable barrier draw has been secured and morning trackwork shows improvement, however, the overall situation isn’t ideal – a trailing pace is expected."
