On October 28th, this horse completed a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua finishing towards the rear and was held back without being fully extended. Five weeks ago, it ran well over 1400m on the Sha Tin turf, settling in a good position tracking the leaders and showing strong late speed to finish second, beaten by half a length. A previous barrier trial didn't reveal its full potential. This time switching to Happy Valley mile for its debut at this distance, it carries only a 2lb penalty, draws a favorable barrier, is likely to be held up in the run, and boasts the strongest finishing kick in the field. The horse’s form looks good, and relative to others, its ability appears promising. The jockey has some understanding of the horse’s capabilities, and trainer-jockey relationship seems solid.
