On December 22nd, (dirt trial 1200m: 8-8-4) showed a promising surge from an inside draw. Five weeks ago over Happy Valley’s 1200m, the performance was respectable despite a slow start and settling towards the rear. It finished strongly to secure fourth place, beaten by one and a half lengths. A recent trial on dirt was satisfactory. This time stepping up for this race with a two-pound weight reduction, regardless of the times posted by its group, it's expected to settle back in the field and rely on a strong finishing kick. The barrier draw is favorable; however, there’s limited synergy between jockey and trainer, with hopes centered on a competitive finish.
