On December 22nd, during a dirt trial over 1200m (sections recorded as 1-1-3), the horse showed a fast pace in third position and remained relaxed. On December 16th, in a turf trial over 1600m (sections 2-2-2-5), it challenged from the 300m mark but displayed some inward leaning throughout. A further dirt trial over 1200m on December 2nd saw sections of 7-7-6, with a still somewhat immature straight run. This is a Brazilian import (PP) with an MA288 predicted rating of 103. The horse has raced eight times overseas, including two international Group 1 victories, most recently winning from the front and finishing strongly. Three trials have been completed this season, maintaining good forward speed. For its Hong Kong debut in this race, despite a high rating and weight allocation, a clean break and an intention to lead should see it stay in contention throughout.
