Three weeks ago, over Sha Tin 1400m, the performance was reasonable despite a slow jump and settling towards the rear. He showed a strong late run but was beaten two lengths, finishing eighth. In a subsequent trial over Sha Tin 1600m, he is set to carry five pounds more this time with unfavorable sectionals observed. The plan is again to settle back in the field; however, his finishing kick may not be enough to compete effectively. Despite having won at this distance previously, conditions are not ideal for a strong showing.
