On March 13th, the horse completed a dirt trial over 1200m in sections of 5-4-1, showing good control. A recent winner, six weeks ago it secured victory over 2000m on the Sha Tin turf with a strong finishing run after a slow start, winning by one and a half lengths. Another trial showed further improvement. Back to 1600m on the turf this time without any additional weight, the horse has proven form at this distance and is expected to track the leaders. It possesses the strongest finishing kick in the field, benefits from an advantageous draw, and demonstrates clear superiority over its rivals. The jockey has a reasonable understanding of the horse’s capabilities, with trainer and jockey aligned in their assessment. Pre-race work was positive and vigorous, indicating that a clean break should see it contend for a forward position.
