On March 13th, this horse recorded a dirt trial over 1200m in positions of 6-6-2 with jockey Lafferty urging him forward. Six weeks ago, in a similar distance trial, the performance was poor; a slow jump led to settling at the rear but Lafferty appeared relaxed and the horse finished poorly. A subsequent barrier trial showed slight improvement. This race sees no weight reduction for this horse, with a moderate time difference compared to its group. The plan is to settle towards the back of the field, however, finishing speed may not be strong enough against rivals, creating an unfavourable situation. Despite two previous wins over this distance, post-entry work has been good and pre-race preparation appears complete, but prospects remain limited.
