Six weeks ago, this horse ran acceptably over 2000m on the Sha Tin turf, slow to jump and settling towards the rear but making a mid-race move. Unfortunately, he couldn’t sustain it to the finish. A recent barrier trial performance was unremarkable. Another dirt trial over 1600m showed competent progress along the rail. This time, he carries no additional weight, however, the draw is unfavourable despite having some form at this distance and comparable times within the group. He will be warmed up before entering the gate, but isn't a leading contender for this race.
